Sun Drawing

A pair of outdoor sculptures that collaborate with their surrounding landscapes.

(1) Designed to be stood underneath, a series of triangular kaleidoscopes form the structure of a geodesic dome which - when looked through - playfully reorganises the surrounding environment, affording a different kind of looking.

(2) A standing sculpture, which with its reflective surface uses the sun’s light to doodle on the ground with shadows and reflections. As the day goes on, the sun's drawings stretch and shorten, or perhaps disappear all together.
